However, one day, you clean up your computer and thus accidentally clean your bookmark.

Do not worry, because it is possible to restore the bookmarks on Firefox and Google Chrome browsers.

RECOVER DELETED BOOKMARKS ON FIREFOX, CHROME

With Firefox Browser

It can be said that you can retrieve bookmarks more easily than Chrome browser.

You can retrieve the bookmark as follows

First, select Bookmarlk and choose Show All Bookmarks

Then on the Library window, select Import and Backup

Now, backup versions will be displayed, select the latest backup to recover. Then Revert Bookmarks window appears. Click OK to begin the recovery process.

With Chrome Browser

Unlike Firefox, Google Chrome browser often automatically backup your web browser every time you browse those websites. Therefore, changes of Bookmark are usually backed up after you close or open the browser.

Open Windows Explorer and go to Default folder by the path C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

In which, AppData folder is a hidden folder, therefore, if you set the files in Windows Explorer to be hidden, you will not see this folder.

There are two important files including Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak

Change Bookmarks to Bookmarks.old and Bookmarks.bak to Bookmark
